Plot No. 6, East Village is a contemporary residential development located in one of London’s most dynamic urban districts. The project combines clean, modern lines with robust, low‑maintenance materials to deliver long-term performance, comfort, and aesthetic value for residents.

Planning & Architecture

The design emphasizes a refined, coherent façade language that balances texture, rhythm, and proportion. Vertical and horizontal elements articulate the building massing, while generous window openings enhance natural daylight and visual connectivity to the surrounding streetscape. The result is a modern architectural expression that feels at once distinctive and contextually sensitive.

Ventilated façade with GFRC panels: The building envelope employs a ventilated rainscreen system clad in Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC). This solution provides a durable, lightweight, and dimensionally stable exterior finish with excellent resistance to weathering. The ventilated cavity supports moisture management, improves thermal performance, and contributes to occupant comfort across seasons.
Materiality and finish: GFRC panels were selected for their fine surface quality and design flexibility, enabling crisp detailing, consistent color, and long-term appearance retention with minimal maintenance.
